AIC LI Clinical Course 1

Synopsis

The CPR + AED Provider course aims to equip learners to perform basic CPR and to operate the AED in an emergency situation. Upon completion of the course, trainees will be awarded the CPR + AED Provider Certificate which is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance, accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council.

AIC LI Clinical Course 2
Synopsis

The SFA (Standard First Aid) + AED course will equip participants with the essential theory, hands-on skills, and knowledge related to emergencies in the workplace. Participants will be able to implement what they have learned when it comes to unforeseen circumstances in the workplace requiring immediate attention. Upon completion of the course, participants will be awarded the Standard First Aid (SFA) + AED certificate which is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance, accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).

An e-learning account will be provided for each participant for the completion of a 4-hrs e-learning prior to the training at HMI Institute.

Certificate will only be conferred to participants upon completion of both e-learning and classroom components.

The BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) + AED course Provides in-depth training on CPR, Operations of AED, Management of foreign Body Airway Obstruction for Adult, Child and Infant.

Synopsis

Mobility aids help to encourage and increase mobility for clients with difficulty in walking. This one-day course aims to equip the healthcare professional and support care staffs with the knowledge of various mobility aids with emphasis on walking aids and safety precaution while assisting their clients with walking aids. The course will cover the use of walking aids, ways to care and maintain the walking aids and how to use them safely.

Synopsis

This course aims to equip the participants with the skills and knowledge of safe turning and positioning techniques for clients with various needs. They will be taught on how to identify different type of resting position and the appropriate equipment required for positioning their clients. The purpose of positioning and safety precautions needed during turning and positioning will also be explained.

Synopsis

This one day course highlights the importance of using the proper technique for safety lifting and transferring clients at all times. The course is structured with a mix of lectures and practical, emphasizing on “hands-on” skills to equip the healthcare professional and support care staffs with th skills and knowledge of lifting and transferring techniques for clients with various level of assistance in the different ILTC settings.

Topics include proper body mechanics, safety precaution and assistive devices during lifting ad transferring.

Synopsis
