This module prepares learners to support healthcare professionals by performing essential clinical tasks and assisting in medical procedures. Including task skills:
- Basic Medical terminology
- Vital signs measuring and monitoring
- Nutrition and fluid management
- Perform removal of peripheral venous cannula
- Perform capillary blood glucose monitoring
- Collection of oral/nasal/axilla/groin/rectal swab for COVID/MRSA/VRE

Oral/written tests, assignments and practical performance.- WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) — for all completed WSQ modules in the programme construct
- Trainees who managed to complete all WSQ modules of the WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare (Operations)
will also be conferred this full qualification
