This course focuses on understanding resilience, stress management, and personalized self-care strategies. You will learn the importance of managing personal and caregiving-related stress while crafting individualized self-care plans to enhance their overall well-being. This course aims to equip you with the tools to develop personalized self-care strategies, fostering resilience and effectively managing stress within your caregiving roles.

Course Objectives

  1. Empowerment through Knowledge: Equip caregivers with the essential knowledge and skills to understand the importance of building resilience, especially in the context of unique stresses arising from caregiving responsibilities.
  2. Stress Management: Highlight the necessity of managing both personal stress and caregiving-related stress, emphasizing the intertwined nature of both.
  3. Personalized Self-Care: Emphasize the crafting and refining of individualized self-care strategies, aiming to proficiently manage stress and promote overall personal wellbeing.

Certification

Caregiver Training Grant Claimable
Eligible care recipients will receive a $200 annual subsidy (from April to March the following year) that can be used by their caregivers (family members or foreign domestic workers) to attend courses to better care for their loved ones.
