HMI Institute
HMI Institute of Health Sciences (“HMI Institute”), owned by Health Management International Pte Ltd, is a dedicated private provider of healthcare training in Singapore and one of two SkillsFuture Singapore appointed Continuing Education and Training Centres for the healthcare support sector since 2009.
HMI Institute’s primary objective is to nurture students to become competent healthcare personnel equipped with a balance of theoretical and practical skills. Since 2001, HMI Institute has trained more than 6,000 graduates for the Singapore healthcare industry. HMI Institute also provides a wide range of emergency life support skills training courses for individuals from all walks of life, and has trained individuals in life saving skills.
HMI Institute has developed close links with healthcare providers in Singapore to provide job placements for graduates of the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) healthcare courses. The Institute also works closely with various Singapore government agencies to encourage more Singaporeans to embark on a fulfilling healthcare career path as healthcare and community care professionals. HMI Medical Centre
Located in Farrer Park Hotel, HMI Medical Centre (formerly known as StarMed Specialist Centre) is a value-driven ambulatory care centre combining specialist consults, diagnostic services and minimally-invasive procedures.. With modern surgical and imaging technology, a vast array of minimally invasive therapy options for precision and quick recovery, and a system built on quality care, speed and efficiency, HMI Medical Centre aims to address the pressing need of our patients.
Mahkota Medical Centre
Established in 1994, Mahkota Medical Centre is one of the largest and most comprehensive tertiary private hospitals in South Malaysia. With a capacity of 305 beds and housing 120 practising consultants across a wide range of medical and surgical disciplines, Mahkota sees more than 300,000 local and international patients.
In January 2020, the hospital was the first in Melaka to earn Joint Commission International (JCI)-accreditation.
Regency Specialist Hospital
Located in thriving Iskandar Malaysia, Regency is a 218-bed capacity hospital with 70 specialists and sees over 170,000 patients a year. It is a private hospital with 24-hour A&E manned by emergency specialists. Established in 2009, Regency is rapidly expanding. The hospital is conveniently located 15 minutes away from Woodlands causeway and is approved for Singapore MediSave use.
HMI OneCare Clinic
HMI OneCare Clinic was established by a group of experienced doctors with a common aim – to provide preventive, accessible, and professional healthcare to the communities. Its first clinic was opened in 2013 at Boon Lay. Since then, HMI OneCare Clinic has expanded rapidly, and currently operates 25 General Practitioner (GP) clinics. In 2019, HMI Medical invested 40% in HMI OneCare Clinic, intending to grow it into a 40 GP clinic chain in Singapore. In 2021, HMI OneCare Clinic welcomed its 25th clinic with the acquisition of Beo Crescent Clinic & Surgery.
Eagle Eye Centre
Established in 2006, Eagle Eye Centre Pte Ltd (“Eagle Eye Centre”) is the largest private ophthalmology chain in Singapore. Eagle Eye Centre operates a chain of 7 ophthalmology centres in Singapore together with 17 resident eye specialists.
