Swabber Training in ART swabbing Operations
(Classroom and Synchronous e-learning)
Overview
This module is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and technical skills to function as Swabber for Covid-19 test according to the Ministry of Health guidelines and protocols.
Course Objectives
The intent of the module is to equip the learners with the knowledge and technical skills for the conduct of swabbing operations for Antigen Rapid Test (ART) as a form of Point-Of-Care Test (POCT) in accordance to the Ministry of Health guidelines.
Target Audience
This training is offered to company:
- To equip their staff to learn the correct technique for the conduct of swabbing operations for ART
- Company who is applying to be an approved test provider with the Ministry of Health, Singapore (Link: https://www.moh.gov.sg/covid-19/pet)
Certification
Participants will be issued with a Certificate of Participation upon meeting the required course attendance and competency assessment.
Please note that for any government-funded (SkillsFuture-funded) course, participants must fulfill the attendance requirement and pass the course assessment in order to be eligible for the “Certificate of Participation” and course fee funding. If participants do not meet the course requirements, full course fee will be invoiced.
